Irrawaddy Dolphins
Kratie, Cambodia
Kratie is the best place in the world to see the critically endangered Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins. There are estimated to be only 100 left in the world with gill net fishing largely accounting for the 10-15% annual mortality rate. I was fortunate enough to have several of these beautiful dolphins swimming near my boat for over an hour.
