A public ceremony and cremation was held when the beloved Ven. Khamchan Vilachitta passed away on July 9, 2007. He was the Chairman of the Luang Prabang Buddhist Fellowship Organization and also the Abbot of Wat Sene Soukkharam. He died at the age of 86 after dedicating 66 years to the monastic life.
